Just a quick hello to confirm we and our Neptune arrived home Thursday after 15 days on the road and nearly 5000 klms .After 22 days and nearly 10000 klms of driving in total, we are still trying to slow down. But let me tell you , it has been worth every effort as we are thrilled with every aspect of the van.As you will understand ,having never previously seen a Silversun product,the decision to purchase ,for a couple of 70 year olds from the other side of the country, was a brave move! When finally meeting the 3 of you and indeed seeing the van for the first time, we were both relieved and thrilled at the excellent result. This was to be a quick "hello" and in a few days when we get sorted , we will touch base with you again regarding our experience thus far with the Neptune.In the meantime , thanks again for producing a wonderful RV for us and and the time and effort you all provided during production and at handover.(a couple of photos attached, all tucked up in its garage!) "We have owned our Silversun 402D for nearly two & a half years now & it has been well used. We chose the club lounge version because it suited our lifestyle best. We added a small wash basin in the corner of the shower which shares a mixer tap with the shower & it has been a great addition.

"We've had our Neptune All Terrain - with trailing arm suspension now for just over two years and love it. Two single beds - and heaps of storage. Longest trip was out to the Dig Tree, Cameron's Corner , down Strzlecki Track to Marree. Birdsville track to Birdsville & Bedourie - then home via Quilpie, Roma etc. Over 5000 kms in two weeks and much of it on gravel and rough road. Lots of 'gravel rash" underneath - but van performed beautifully. Very little dust, thanks to "scupper" fitted by the great people at Silversun. Their after sales service is "second to none!""

While we didn't finish up making a purchase, this was absolutely nothing to do with the caravan or the company. We were very keen to purchase the Neptune Caravan that is perhaps the most popular they manufacture. But the timing and for our own personal reasons made this impractical for us. That said the team couldn't have been more helpful and there was absolutely no pressure on us to buy. We have travelled in a few caravans over the years and while this caravan may be small in size and in weight it has everything you could want for travelling, if you were happy to enjoy the 'journey of caravaning' without feeling like you needed to take all your household possessions with you. It was roomy inside, has a separate toilet and shower cubicle, solar panel, wide single beds or you can have a large bed configuration. The list of what is on offer is really expansive and covers everything you would need. You can even make your own choices as each caravan is built around your needs, within reason. We saw them making the caravan and it was well designed on a solid chassis. It has so much going for it that it was such a hard decision to say no for us, but then age catches up with us all and Vlad was very understanding of our reasoning for not going ahead with a purchase. If you have time to wait for this caravan, and if that isn't a problem, then I am sure you will be very pleased with this caravan as we were during our more than one inspection. Everyone from the staff that made the caravans and the management / owners of this small but successful business were easy to deal with on our inspections. Buy Australian! When I was looking to get into the caravan market everything was done by the internet and phone calls. To ensure I made a good choice on what and where to buy I read reviews and spoke to the companies. I also wanted to change a few feature to better suit my life style but with some of the changes that I wanted most companies were not able to comply due to the standard manufacture of their product. Silversun were more were very happy to comply with any changes I wanted to make ensuring I was happy with every decision. Our experience with Silversun Caravans has been top class. Our caravan design process took a number of years and went through several major changes but through the whole process the team at Silversun Caravans demonstrated patience and empathy as our design changed. The caravan we decided on was loosely based on their Neptune 402 with a major list of modifications and customisations. Our final product has not only met but exceeded our expectations in regard to quality and functionality. With their guidance we have designed a caravan that meets our specific needs without a single aspect that we feel needs changing.

To give you an example of their quality control and attention to detail within 10 hours of taking delivery of our Silversun caravan we headed to Cape York. During the trip we covered over 3000 kilometres of gravel roads and 5000 kilometres on bitumen roads with no failures or breakages. We are so happy with our decision to get our caravan built by Silversun Caravans.

Excellent service from Josie Boyden and Vlad. Always at the end of the phone for help and advice. We never thought we would love caravan life so much! After tenting it's luxury. So comfortable, Neptune is small but has all we need. At the moment we are in Bargara for a week, last week we were at Woodgate Beach, who knows where next?
Had a great trip in June, went for over four weeks, Cairns Mossman, stops all the way up and back, will do that again next winter. When Covid lifts would like to head south.
At the moment camp parks are busy so we book a week ahead where we want to go next.
Housekeeping the Neptune is so quick and easy, got a Kmart 12 volt vacuum, 10 mins and the van is all clean and tidy. We tend to use the toilet only at night as usually on sites.
The dog, Delboy loves the van too and loves our trips away. It's also handy when the family come to stay, we move into the caravan to sleep!

Someone suggested Silversun and after checking their web site and making sure that they came with shower and toilet, we paid them a visit. An hour after Boyan started showing us the Neptune, we placed an order for one. The wait time was to be three months. They weren't short of orders. We picked our colours and the extras we wanted and then had to be patient. Well, come last August, right on time, our little beauty was ready. The whole experience was very pleasant. We came across Silversun Caravans when we were looking for a light-weight van that could be towed by a small car (RAV4). We visited Silversun at their showroom to inspect their range, and spoke with them about features, how the van was built, and the options that were available. With the need for a light weight off road caravan Silversun was almost unique in being able to customize their Neptune caravan into exactly what I wanted and not have to upgrade my tow vehicle. We bought our Silversun Neptune second hand but have so appreciated the advice and support that the Silversun team have given us. We had a weird contraption (that the former owner fitted) taken off the side and replaced with a Thule awning by them. Excellent job, fast service. The insulation in the van makes a huge difference with the temperature inside. We have only had it long enough to use it during winter and it stays nice and cosy. Having a shower and toilet is a huge bonus. Very happy. Plus there is an official Silversun Owners Group Facebook page where you can share your experiences with other owners.

Amazing small (in measurement only) light caravan. I tow this with my Mitsubishi Outlander, petrol motor. I do not know I am towing the caravan. It is a "Home away from home". It has all mod-cons, including a full ensuite. All fittings and fixtures, as well as the caravan body are excellent quality. I have not had any issues with the caravan. It is very well insulated, have caravaned in zero degrees, hardly needing a heater at night. It is quick and easy to pack up. My van has additionally a bike rack fitted on rear, as well as a box and fuel jerry can on front of van. I live in Victoria and had no issues organising the manufacture of the caravan using emails. Would recommend this caravan

Our Silversun Neptune is 20 months old. It is a semi off road and hasn't stopped us yet.
